Tremendous Service

Howdy,

I just wanted to thank you all for the tremendous service I have received from all of you for the transport of my daughter's car from Indiana back to Los Angeles. The car arrived at our home today.

As you may recall I was referred to you by my son, David, who is a specialist with Gooding & Co.

Each of you were just a tremendous help in setting this up and following up with me and I have to also express my appreciation to the drivers, Don and Mary Hartley, who were just superb.

Everyone in your company has been absolutely professional in every respect.

I must tell you the car was picked up when promised, delivered when promised and literally done "door to door". Along the way the Hartleys took it upon themselves to keep me posted of status at every step and I am especially impressed as when they picked up the car from my (teenage) daughter at school in Indiana, the Hartley's called not only to tell me the car was picked up but that they had made certain my daughter was back safe and sound in her apartment. Just amazing care and service.

I also must tell you that I have used some of your competitors in the past. Cars were not picked up when promised, not delivered when promised and not taken "door to door" and instead left for days in holding yards, contrary to the promises I was made and contracted for. I was never provided with any status and unless I called I never knew what was taking place. On the contrary, I never made one follow up call with your company as, to reiterate, I received a status report every step of the way.

Your company's service has simply been outstanding and i look forward to working with you this summer. As you will recall I have an order in place to ship a 1957 Porsche Speedster from Los Angeles to Pebble Beach and back to Los Angeles during Pebble Beach week in August. (btw, I'm sure all your drivers are superlative but if you could assign that job to the Hartleys again, that would be great. But, again, I'm sure all your drivers are great).

Boat Delivery

Hi Nicki,

I just wanted to drop you a quick note thanking you for your assistance in getting my commissioned and custom-built Melonseed Skiff delivered from Crawford Boatbuilding in Marshfield, Massachusetts to northern Indiana. Everything was just as planned and as promised.

The delivery team of Tim Schaefer and his wife Anne could not have been any nicer! They were fabulous to work with and kept me informed of their progress as they got close to delivery. The great care and pride that they take in the gems they've been entrusted to deliver is remarkable, as is their level of competence.

Dear Intercity,

I just wanted to say Thanks Again!!!! I was blessed with a gift from my father of a very special car that he decided to give me. After several anxious months of searching we decided to go with Intercity to transport the Vette from California to Texas. Considering everything was taken care of via the Internet and with two phone calls, I was a little nervous. After speaking with Nikki and then several phone calls from Ed the driver along the way, I was sleeping much better at night. The vehicle arrived when they stated it would and Ed was of great help. Black 61 Vette Delivered in Perfect Shape

Hi Sharon,

I just wanted to send an email to thank you and Jim as well as Dale and Kristy for handling the transport of my Black 61 Corvette from Austin Texas to Rohnert Park, California. The car arrived this morning and looked great. I appreciated the updates I received about your schedule and must say your company is very professional in the way it deals with customers and the way it handles this 'precious cargo'. As I mentioned on the phone, we'll be relocating to Prescott Arizona in a year or two and when we do, we'll have '5' cars to transport and Intercity Transport will be our first call.

1969 Mustang Mach I

Just a quick note to let you know that Jerry picked up our car, checked it very carefully for any marks, pits and bumps, and transported it from Florida to Connecticut. He was extraordinarily professional. He called to set up the appointment, then called again on the morning of the pick up letting us know along the way when we could expect him to arrive.

He arrived in hot sweaty weather looking clean and dry and well kept. Kept his truck on the street where it was level....that may be something all would do, but I was taken by the fact that he was willing to explain why he wouldn't come up the driveway. Polite and professional he got the car safely to Connecticut.

Thanks very much for the great experience with your company in moving my Porsche Carrera S cross country from Corona, CA to Chesapeake, VA.

Your team personnel were all professional with their dealings. Starting with Jim Bergeron who expeditiously processed the move. Additionally, he constantly gave me an update on the status and where-abouts of the truck.

The Truck Driver(husband and wife team, Steve and Clara) were very professional, courteous and extremely careful with the car. When my friend at the pick up point told me that they were taking notes even the small insect stains on the bumper, I knew right there and then that the car is in good hands! They were meticulous. That level of attention to detail is Outstanding Service!

My car arrived safely and ahead of schedule!
